Beyond the razzle-dazzle keynotes, it’s rare that we get a peek inside the mind of Apple.

petabush‘s insight:

Mark Wilson is right to comment on those who wear glasses/sunglasses as a matter of style; and he picks up an important point about whether wearables are ‘more about fashion than utility’. These comments all float around concepts of body theory, style, and how we feel about and sense the objects that we wear. In short, then we are looking at aesthetics and emotional design.

It is not surprising that so few people involved in this tech, and working in this space, are coming up with considered emotional and aesthetic ideas about wearing these objects on the body.

I look forward to the day when one of these artefacts demonstrates such understanding in its design.
